Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. (Acts 2:38)

Christian water baptism is an act of obedience to the Lord after salvation; although baptism is closely associated with salvation, it is not a requirement to be saved. The Bible shows in many places that the order of events is 1) a person believes in the Lord Jesus and 2) he is baptized. (See Acts 2:41) Baptism illustrates, in dramatic style, the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. At the same time, it also illustrates our death to sin and our rise into a new life in Christ. Baptism declares to the world, both seen and unseen, "I have decided to follow Jesus; no turning back!"

Must have attended a salvation counseling session
Must be a regular attendee of Services
Must be certain of the desire to follow the Lord all the way

At Trinidad Christian Center, water baptism is usually scheduled to occur once or twice for the year.  It's usually a big event where candidates, their families and members of the congregation, gather to witness the transition.  Before submersion, there is an anointing ceremony and many experience the presence of the Lord in a very tangible and memorable way.  

Shortly after baptism day, we have a New Believer's Fellowship, where the candidates get an opportunity to meet the Leadership, the Board and various Heads of Ministries in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.
